Aditya Singh Rathore's pov

Mr. Choudhary-  "we're just preparing the files. The staff left early yesterday, that's why the files are not completed Sir"

I slammed my hand on the window, shattering the glass. Sharp fragments pierced my skin.

 Glaring at Mr. Choudhary, I said, "Who gave them permission to leave early, Mr. Choudhary? You know me, and you know I despise people who aren't punctual with their work."

"I know, Sir. I'm trying my best to have the files completed by this evening" Mr. Choudhary replied.

"Not this evening. I want those files by the afternoon. If I don't get them on time, I'll fire all of them"

Mr. Choudhary was visibly shocked. "Y-yes, Sir."

"You may leave now."

"Sir, shall I bring the first aid kit? Your hand is bleeding."

I nodded, gulped a glass of water to calm myself, and said, "Sorry for yelling at you, Mr. Choudhary. You know I like my work done on time."

"It's okay, Sir. I've worked here for almost 30 years, and I consider you my son, so it doesn't matter."

Looking at him, I hugged him lightly. "Thanks, Mr. Choudhary, for handling my bad temper. I can't help it, but it's for our own good if we take our work seriously."

He smiled. "Yes, Sir. I know, and I'll make sure that from now on, everyone takes their work seriously."

Mr. Choudhary left to get the first aid kit. I walked to my desk and opened my laptop. My eyes caught sight of a family photo frame, and a bittersweet feeling gripped my chest. "I miss you every day, Maa and Papa. I'll make sure that man pays for what he did."

My smile faded as anger bubbled up inside me. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Come in," I said.

Mr. Choudhary returned with the first aid kit. He carefully applied ointment to my hand and covered the cut with a bandage. I smiled at him, thinking, "If my father were alive, he would've been just like Mr. Choudhary."

"Mr. Choudhary, sometimes I think that if my father were alive, he would've been just like you."

He smiled. "Yes, Sir. I met the king once at an office party when he was in charge of the business. He was such a great person. His way of handling everything was fascinating, and I can say you're very much like him. Continuing his legacy is a great act by you."

"As far as I remember, I used to ask him every possible random question, and he would answer with so much happiness. He liked that his son always had questions and that he could answer them." I replied with a smile as I remembered my childhood memories of my father.

Mr. Choudhary nodded. "Sir, you're a great person and a great prince, just like your father. You just need to control your anger... Sorry if I said something wrong."

I smiled. "You don't have to apologize. I know I lack in many areas, but I'm trying. I'm trying to control my anger. Sometimes my emotions get out of control."

"Sir, sometimes anger is necessary. I know you haven't slept properly in the last six months because of this project. I know how badly you want to build this hospital for the poor people. It's not an easy task to manage the business and the legacy of the kingdom."

I nodded. "Yes, Mr. Choudhary, this is my dream project. I want this to happen in every possible way, and I'll make it happen. I just need your and my team's support."

"I'll always support you, Son." he replied , my heart melted.

"I should go and check that the staff is working properly." he said.

I nodded as he left. Sitting in my chair, I started preparing the presentation for the afternoon meeting.

In the afternoon

I was walking down the hall that's when I heard some gossips

Employee 1 - Indeed , Aditya Sir is so Handsome , What a luck !! A Multi Billionaire as well as the Prince of Udaipur, I've read his article where he gave an interview about how he is managing his business as well as the kingdom duties

Employee 2 - how come he is that much attractive and rich too

I stopped and smirked , shook my head and started walking towards them and said

" It would be better if you both concentrate on your work instead of checking everyone out , you come here to work , not to look and check out people , have some professionalism "

Them - Sorry Sir

" Fired , you both can leave now "

I said without any expressions on my face

Them - we're really sorry sir , please don't fire us

" I said you may leave " , I said while trying to Control my anger

" S-Sorry , sir , this mistake won't repeat again " one of them said with tears and guilt on her face

" I don't like to Repeat myself , do you get it ? " I said while clenching my jaw

" Sir , You Go , I'll handle it , and then I'll join you In the Meeting room " Mr Choudhary said and managed the situation

I left from there and started walking towards the meeting room

I entered and everyone present there stood up and greeted me

" Good afternoon everyone, You may sit "

They nodded their head and sat down on the chairs

Mr Choudhary entered the meeting room and handed me the files

I looked at them carefully and nodded

" Mr Choudhary, you can start the meeting "

He nodded his head and started

I listened carefully, after he got done , I stood up from my chair and went to the front and started my presentation

After 2 hours

" Mr Agnihotri , as you've seen the statistics already , I think this would be enough for you to convince "

Mr Agnihotri nodded his head and smiled

" Brilliant presentation, Mr Rathore "

I smiled proudly and looked at Mr Choudhary, he smiled back at me

" Thanks , Mr Agnihotri , I'm happy you are contributing in this pious act "

He nodded his head and we left the meeting room together

After he left , I went back to my office room and Mr Choudhary followed me

" Mr Choudhary , finally the meeting is over and I can start proceeding for the further process "

He nodded and said

" yes sir , afterall you've worked so much for this presentation and project "

I said

" you've also done a great job , Mr Choudhary "

He smiled and I smiled back

" Now , cancel all my tomorrow's meeting , I'll be spending some time with dadisa in the palace "

He nodded his head and said

" Sure sir "

I left the office and went towards my car , the driver opened the door for me and I sat in the car

The driver started the car and after some time , I said

" Stop the car "

He stopped the car and I went out

" She'll love them "

I said while going towards the flowers shop to take a bouquet for my dadisa

I collected white tulips and gave them to the shopkeeper

" Make a beautiful Bouquet "

He nodded and took the flowers from my hands

He gave me the Bouquet and I smiled looking at them , I payed and went towards the car

The driver started the car again and we went off to the palace
