Vandita's pov

I opened my eyes as I heard Ranvijay's scream , as my vision got clear , my eyes landed on him , he was sitting on the bed , his both arms resting on the headboard , his head taking the support of the headboard  , his eyes closed , his forehead sweating badly , his chest moving up and down fastly and his breathing was uneven , I called him

" Ranvijay ? " He opened his eyes and  looked at me , just as he saw me , he engulfed me in his arms , my eyebrows joined in confusion , I hugged him back , his grip tightened around me , I started caressing his back , his whole body was shivering , I got worried seeing him like that , I tightened the hug and he put his face in the crook of my neck , his breathing fast and steady , I kept caressing his back to comfort him , I tried to ask him again

" Ranvijay , What happened ? " I asked as I kept caressing him , his breaths fanning my neck fastly and in an uneven pace ,  after some time , he broke the hug

" That Same Nightmare , Vandita " He replied , my confusion grew more , I wiped off the sweat from his forehead and cupped his cheeks softly

" What Nightmare , Ranvijay ? " I asked him in a soft tone in order to not make  him more terrified , for the first time , I saw him this much vulnerable , I caressed his face gently with my palm

" Vandita , I keep seeing the same Nightmare time to time , in every 8 to 9 days , I keep getting the same Dream and it's so scary , I keep getting the same dream more often now " He said trembling , I hugged him once again , I caressed his hair

" Don't worry , I'm here , sometimes , it happens , no need to get panicked , I'm right here by your side , alright ? " I asked him and he nodded , he hugged me again and tightened the hug , after some time , I broke the hug

" Would you mind if I ask you , what did you see in that Nightmare ? " I asked as I knew I should not pressure him in any way possible , he nodded , I smiled softly and kissed his forehead , he smiled lightly , his face got pale again when he started talking about his dream

" I am in a dark Jungle , Running , panting heavily , and I am with a Girl , I am holding her hand and we are running in that jungle , we are passing through big and giant trees , i look back and saw that girl , I'm assuring her that we are going to be safe , her face is blurred out , I can't see her face properly , and as we are running forward , suddenly , I felt a sharp pain on my head , I looked back and saw two men riding on their horses , one attacked me with a rod in his hand , I fell down , that girl starting screaming and crying seeing me , I assured her by smiling , she made my head lay down on her lap , her tears started falling seeing me but the next moment , they also attacked her , her head started bleeding , she fell on the ground , I screamed seeing her state but she still smiled at me , her head was bleeding badly and her clothes stained in the blood and after that I woke up " He stated and my eyes widened hearing him , I hugged him and caressed his head , I broke the hug and looked in his eyes

" Shhh , don't worry , I'm here , it was just a Nightmare , sometimes , we see the same Dream again and again , don't think too much about it , hmm ? " I said assuring him and he nodded

I looked towards the window and saw that the sun almost started rising

" Always Remember , the darkness always go away , the brightness always keep the darkness away just like the sun " I said smiling softly at him , he nodded and engulfed me in his arms , we both stayed like this in each other's arms for sometime and I broke the hug

" You are okay , right ? " I asked him as I wanted to assure myself that he was alright , he nodded , I pecked his forehead , he smiled looking at me

" Okay , Now I've to get Ready , Today is a very Important day , the guests must be on their way " I said and he nodded

" I'm going , I'll be right back here as soon as I can , if you feel uncomfortable or uneasy , just call me , okay ? " I asked him and he nodded , I looked at him one last time before I went towards the bathing area

I entered the bathing area , the attendees already kept everything which I needed , they left and I took my bath , I  kept thinking about what Ranvijay has told me , even though I assured him that it was a Nightmare and the dreams can be repetitive but deep down I was feeling anxious , the way he reacted , the way he got panicked , I never saw him being this agitated and worried , I shook my head in order to get rid of these thoughts for now , I shifted my focus on today's ceremony

      After Sometime

I came back after taking a bath , the towel wrapped around my body , I went towards the dressing area and the attendees followed me

" Ranisa , the lehenga and the jewelries " She said while handing me the dress and the jewelry

I took them and my eyes started shining seeing the lehenga , they helped me wearing the lehenga , the lehenga was so beautiful yet elegant , Red colored lehenga with the heavy pearls work , heavy plates in the lehenga , the golden and dark green strap design on the lehenga , the blouse was made up of heavy pearl and stones carved on it , it was so heavy , for a moment I felt as if I would fall down with it's heavy weight , the blouse hugging my curves perfectly , the attendees helped me wearing my jewelry , the shahi gehne , the heavy neckpiece , hathphool , anklets , baajubandh , bangles , earrings , waistchain and maangteeka and lastly setted my dupatta , Thank God because of the heavy neckpiece my neck got covered fully , now no one can notice the love bite , I sighed in relief then my eyes went on the attendees , their heads were hanging low , I called them and they looked at me , I smiled and they smiled back , after that they all left from there , I grabbed my vermilion pot in my hand and went towards the boudoir and saw Ranvijay sitting on the bed , his eyes landed on me and his eyes shone brightly , I smiled at him and he smiled back at me , he stood up and came towards me , his hands wrapped around my waist tightly and he kissed my forehead gently

I closed my eyes , after some time , I opened my eyes and saw him looking at me lovingly

" Are you Sore ? " He asked gently as he caressed his thumb over my right cheek

" A Little bit , but I'm fine " I replied assuring him , he joined our foreheads together

" Do you want me dead , Sunshine " He whispered in my ears and I blushed , my cheeks heated up by his words , I held his muscular biceps

" Who Knows ? " I Replied with a smirk on my face , his grip tightened on my waist and he pecked my neck softly , our eyes locked and he smiled at me

" Here " I said as I showed him the vermilion pot , he smiled and took the pot from my hands , he opened the lid and took a pinch of vermilion , he looked at me and applied the vermilion in the partition of my hair , the little vermilion fell on my nose , I smiled at him and he placed a peck on left cheek

" You look Gorgeous as always " He complimented me and my cheeks flustered by his words

" Well , Thanks for the Compliment , but don't you have to get ready ? " I asked him

" Well , I want to get ready but how can I go when this beauty in front of me keeps holding me with her breathtaking looks " He said smiling at me , the blush didn't fade away from my face , how can it fade when he keeps on Complimenting me without any break

" Ji , Ranasa , Aap hamari Tareef baad mein bhi Kar sakte hain , abhi aap jaaiye , aur tyaar ho jaaiye " ( okay , Ranasa , you can shower me with Compliments later , now go and get ready ) I stated as I placed my hands on his chest

" And What if I don't want to ? " He said smirking , I was about to say something , when

" Ranisa , Badi Ranisa has called you for the Mooh dikhayi " an attendee said from outside of our chamber

" Inform her that I'm coming " I shouted and she left , I giggled when I saw him shaking his head in disappointment

" Go , Ranisa , Badi Ranisa has called you " He mimicked and I laughed seeing him being this cute , I pinched his nose

" Get Ready " I said as I pecked his lips lightly and ran from the Chamber , I looked back and his face was completely flustered , I blushed seeing him blushing , he scratched the back of his head and I shook my head lightly and went from there smiling widely
