Vandita's pov

I woke up a little early today , the sun has not risen up yet , Today I decided to visit the gurukul and meet guruji to ask for his blessings for my marriage and would ask about his health too

( Now only 1 week was left for my marriage and all the preparations has been started a long time ago , now the last minute preparations are taking place , as the time was getting nearer , the nervousness as well as the excitement for the marriage was also increasing )

Thinking that , I got up from my bed and went towards the bathing area to get ready , after bathing , the attendees came and helped me wearing my jewelry and braided my hair

I was looking myself in the mirror that's when Maa sa came into my room , I smiled and went towards her

She asked

" Where are you going this early , my love "

I smiled and greeted her .

" Privacy , please " I said and the attendees left .

Maa sa gently patted my head , I smiled and said

" Today I'm going to Visit Guruji and ask for his blessings , Maa sa "

She smiled and said

" Nice thought , you should definitely visit him and take his blessings for your future "

I nodded and said

" Ok Maa sa , I'm taking my leave now "

She nodded and followed me to the entrance

I climbed up on my horse and two soldiers accompanied me in my journey

After 4 hours , we reached the Gurukul and saw Guruji teaching the students

I went towards him and touched his feet to take his blessings

He smiled, touched my head and said

" Vandita , my child , How are you ?"

I replied

" I'm fine guruji and I hope you're also fine"

He smiled and said

" yes I'm fine my child , it feels like it's been ages since you left from here "

I smiled and said

" it's your generosity , guruji "

Then I asked

" Guruji , if you're free right now , can we talk for some minutes "

He nodded and we went to the chamber

He asked

" So , what's troubling you , my child "

I hesitantly asked

" Guruji , As you know my alliance got fixed with the Prince of Rajgarh , Ranvijay , I wanted to take your blessings for both of us and wanted to ask if everything is fine , I've not shared it with anyone but there is something which is making my heart anxious , I don't know why but I'm kind of feeling anxious , please enlighten my path ,guruji "

He smiled and said

" Prince Ranvijay is a great man , a great warrior and a great person , I met him once and I could see that why people revere him , his manners showed it all , and about you feeling anxious , I just want to say that you need to be extra careful with your surroundings , an arrow can be seen clearly once it's close to us , just as the arrow, there can be danger present in your surroundings too for which you need to be prepared , Believe in yourself and face all the problems with courage "

I said

" so I have to be alert?"

He nodded and said

" And I believe you that you and Ranvijay will overcome any difficulty together , you just need to hold onto each other and have faith in each other "

I nodded , he smiled

" Vandita , I believe you can overcome any problem when you stick to the people close to your heart , just have faith "

After meeting guruji , I left for Nirgarh and through my whole journey I was thinking what guruji has told me

I decided to not think about it much right now and focus on the marriage , just as I was returning back , I crossed a nearby village where I heard screaming I decided to take a look at what was happening and why were people screaming , my soldiers informed me that a wild lion has attacked the village , my soldiers asked me to return back to the kingdom but I couldn't see the people of the village getting suffered , I decided to take a look in the village , just as I reached there I saw people running from here to there , I climbed down from my horse and asked an old man about the situation, he greeted me hurriedly and started crying and said " princess , a wild lion has attacked our village and attacking everyone , it also ruined our crops , please save us ,princess " , he said joining his hands together.

I couldn't see his tears

" Don't worry , you're like my grandfather, you need not to join your hands , I'll do something , please relax " I said assuring him , he nodded his head

I asked him where he saw the lion , he pointed towards a direction and I saw it

I climbed up on my horse , my soldiers tried to protest my decision but I asked them to help me instead of protesting me

And they nodded

I saw the lion , it looked like it lost its control and mercilessly destroying the houses of the people

I chased it and my soldiers following behind, my soldiers tried to distract him , and after a while it got irritated, I took the chance and pointed my arrow towards it's leg , I shooted the arrow and the arrow injured its leg , the lion growled in pain , fell on the ground and later got unconscious , I asked my soldiers to cage it and safely drop it to the jungle

Villagers came to me and blessed me , I took their blessings and went from there to return to the kingdom

After returning to the kingdom , I slept all day as I got extremely exhausted

( Next day )

I woke up , went to take a bath and wore my magenta colored lehenga with my jewelry when maa sa , dadisa and radhika came to me and told me to join them in the garden for the ubtan ceremony ( ubtan ceremony was held for the pre wedding glow )

I smiled and went with them

In the garden area , all the family members were present there , I smiled at them and greeted them , they all smiled back at me and blessed me

Radhika took my hand and made me sit on the stool for the further process , firstly Maa sa came and took a large amount of ubtan in her hands and put it on my cheeks , hands ,legs , followed by dadisa , radhika and chachi sa and when the ladies finished with their business , pitaji and chacha sa came and applied ubtan on my face and hands , I smiled and they smiled back at me and patted my head .

The process repeated for the five days , the designers came for my last time fittings, 5 days passed just like that and on the 6th day , I got ready for the haldi and mehndi ceremony , i wore a dark green colored lehenga for my haldi ceremony, the same process repeated for the haldi , after my haldi ceremony , I went to my room with radhika where I took the haldi off of my body , then I got dressed for the mehndi ceremony that was taking place at night , I wore a green colored lehenga with light gold jewelry, the mehndi designer started to put mehndi on my hands and asked me whether to put my husband's name on it or not , I nodded as a sign of agreement, she wrote Ranvijay's name in the middle of my hand , I smiled looking at it . Then Maa sa came and applied alta (mahavar) - a red colored dye on my feets , The ladies started dancing and the celebration started , everyone was looking so happy , seeing everyone so happy , my eyes got teary in happiness , maa sa hugged me , wiped my tears ,i smiled at her trying not to get her emotional . By the time the ceremony got finished , it was midnight , and I went to my room to sleep as I got tired and everyone went to their rooms to get some sleep too

( that's how the day ended , the whole palace was beautifully decorated with diyas and flowers , the roads of the kingdom were also decorated beautifully for the welcome of the groom )

I couldn't wait for tomorrow , as the time has come when I'll meet my husband as his wife and welcome him in my life

                 Ranvijay's pov

In Rajgarh ,

I was discussing something with my Father when suddenly Abhimanyu came and put the haldi on my face , I later realized what he did , I excused myself and chased him , he giggled and start running , but he was fast enough I couldn't catch him , moments later , maa sa came and said

" Ranvijay , come , we have to apply haldi on your body for the haldi ceremony " Maa sa said

I nodded and went with Maa sa , I sat on the chair and Maa sa came and applied haldi on my face , hands and legs followed by Pitaji and Abhimanyu , other guests who came for the marriage , also applied haldi on my face , after the ceremony, I came to my chamber for washing off the haldi from my body , Abhimanyu came and started teasing me

" you're getting out of hand , you're taking advantage of my love for you abhimanyu " I stated

He smiled mischievously

" Bhaisa, atleast I should have some freedom , I'm the youngest of our family , just 21 years old , I should enjoy my adulthood " He said smiling

" yeah but you should have some responsibilities too as a prince , sometimes be serious, not always doing your mischievous acts " I said

He laughed , I shook my head , smiled and patted his head

" you can't scold me Bhaisa , I know "

I shook my head as how much he knew me , he was right I couldn't scold him , he was a part of my heart , I have always loved him and he always had been close to my heart since his birth

" yeah yeah , whatever "  I said with a serious yet authoritative voice

He said " Bhaisa , I know you love me so much and I intentionally do all this so that I can see this beautiful smile on your face "

I hugged him hearing that , he hugged me back

" I don't want to share you but it's alright as long as it's bhabhisa " He said

I laughed hearing that and caressed his head softly

                    At Night

I was laying down on my bed and started thinking ( Finally , the day has come , tomorrow she will become a part of my life , my everything would start with her , my responsibilities will become double and from tomorrow she will become mine and only mine ) ( I smiled thinking that and fell asleep )

   King Ranjeet Rathore's pov

( You'll become mine and only mine , Vandita , I'll meet you soon )

" Chitranshi , What did you Think , You And your lover would reborn and I wouldn't even know , I have each and every detail about your Whereabouts , if you couldn't be mine then I'll not let you become Anyone's , Including that Devsingh , I'll find you both , I would make your life Worse than Hell , I'll make you mine in front of your Devsingh , even if you will beg , I'll not Spare you "

" I can't wait to Sleep with you , Princess Vandita or should I say Chitranshi , These girls would never be able to satisfy me , I want you and only you "

I thought with a wide smirk on my lips , the anger and rage started possessing my body and I threw the glass on the floor , It broke into millions of pieces , I was totally wasted in alcohol , I looked at my side and the girl was laying down fainted , I kept looking at the moon While thinking about Princess Vandita Suryapratap Singh
