Vandita's pov

I was in the garden collecting flowers with my other attendees , the weather was nice and sunny, I had a basket in my hands , I was collecting jasmine , lilies , roses , sunflowers from the royal garden and after few minutes I heard someone screaming my name from afar , as soon as I heard the voice I smiled widely and put my basket down and looked back , I saw her , Princess Radhika Suryapratap singh , my sister , my soul , approaching me with a wide smile on her face , I opened my hands and welcomed her by embracing her in my arms , we both hugged each other tightly as we could , tears started to form in my eyes and I put my palm over her head and closed my eyes feeling the moment , after some time , I pulled back and looked at her and kissed on her forehead , she looked at me lovingly.

" how did you come so early this year , it's not even the month of Diwali " I asked her being slightly confused

Radhika - I had to come , afterall it's my sister who's getting married, how could I miss that

I embraced her once again and ruffled her hairs

She giggled

She was in her heavy metallic armor and had a sword in her left hand , she put the sword down

" di , atleast you could've told me that your alliance got fixed " She asked with a little disappointed face

I smiled lightly and patted her head

" hume maaf kariyega Radhika , Samay hi aisa tha , hum nhi chahte the aap apne lakshay se bhatke "

( sorry radhika , but I didn't want to distract you from your practice )

" I completely understand di , you don't have to apologize " She nodded her head and said

I smiled

" ok , come and tell me about jija sa , how's he , his nature , his behavior and everything " She Said getting excited

" surely I'll tell you but first go and get changed " I smiled and said

She nodded and left

I looked at her and thought how come she grew up so much , when she left for gurukul she was only 10 years old , and now look at her all grown up , even after 8 years later she is still the same but more stronger , she only visit us once a year , on the occasion of Diwali and leave immediately the day after.

I always kept her well being but somehow I got worried for her as she was so young and I hope I didn't put her under any pressure by sending her to gurukul , I wanted her to be independent and have the strong mindset like me so that she could handle every situation in the future

Radhika came back after changing into her royal attire and we both sat near the pond which was present near my chamber

" so tell me , how's your training going on?" I asked

" Very good , as always , Guruji sent you his blessings " She replied

" It's been ages since I last met him , I'll meet him before marriage " I smiled and said

Radhika nodded

" Radhika , I know I told you to join gurukul , I hope I didn't pressurized you in any way " I said as the wave of guilt filled my heart

" Di , you can never force me , It was for my own good , and I also want to be like you , daring and courageous , even if I'm able to become the 10 % of you ,it'll be more than enough for me " She held my hand and said

" how come you make such big statements, huh " I said as I got emotional

" you know , I'm your sister afterall " she smiled and replied

We both laughed and I patted her head

" ok now tell me about jijasa " She asked

" After our alliance got fixed , I heard a lot about him and eventually started liking him, and few days back he came to meet our family, after meeting him I'm convinced that he is the one for me " I said as my cheeks started heating

" if you are saying then he must be the one for you " Radhika smiled softly and said

I smiled and an attendee came inside and said

Attendee - Princesses , Maharaj and Ranisa are looking for you

I nodded and she left

We both went to Pitaji and Maa-sa

Radhika hugged maa-sa and greeted pitaji

They both smiled

Pitaji - Radhika , how's your training going on?

Radhika - It's going great , pitaji

Pitaji smiled and nodded

Maa sa - from tomorrow, the rituals of the marriage are taking place ,we'll send the shagun and Radhika and me will take the shagun to Rajgarh with other attendees

Maa sa said that and my cheeks automatically got red , my heart starting racing at the thought of my marriage , nervousness was visible on my face as it was the first time I felt this strange feeling that I belong to someone who is going to become a very important part of my life , before him , my family was important to me but for the first time I feel as if other than my family , someone else is going to become a part of my life with whom I'll share everything, my happiness , my sorrows , my excitement , my nervousness , my everything . He was going to be the one with whom I'm going to share every aspect of my life , he'll walk by my side and I'll walk by his side , we're going to become each other's world from now on .

I nodded and Maa sa and Radhika left from there for the preparations....

Pitaji called me for the suggestions of the free rations for the poor people of our kingdom , I went towards the Darbar and saw the ministers sitting there along with my Father and chacha sa , I discussed a few things with them on equally distributions , monthly costs , welfare of the poors.

I suggested my father to visit the houses of the poor people in order to understand their needs , my father given the responsibility to me and chacha sa to look after people of Nirgarh

Chacha sa suggested to visit the houses tomorrow, I nodded

Next day

I woke up when an attendee came and informed me that Radhika wants to visit me , I nodded and she left to call Radhika

After sometime

Radhika came properly dressed in yellow lehenga , I smiled looking at her ,she was looking absolutely gorgeous , she came and greeted me I smiled and she sat on my bed

               Radhika's pov

I entered the chamber and saw my sister just woke up , I greeted her and sat beside her while she smiled at Me

" kya aapko tyaar nahi hona ? " I said

(Don't you want to get ready ?)

( Di is the Eldest daughter of our Family and She has so many Responsibilities too , I can't even Imagine how she manages to take care of Everything , She's always been Special to me , Our Bond is Unbreakable )

" Yes , I was just going to get ready , so are you ready to visit Rajgarh ? " She asked

I nodded

( Although I wished she could also join us for the visit but she couldn't , as the Bride cannot see the groom before the marriage , it was an important ritual that every couple has to follow before the marriage )

" ok you get ready , everyone must be waiting for me , I'm going , you take care " I said

She smiled softly and I nodded

Vandita - Have a safe trip

I smiled and took my leave from there

            Vandita's pov

I went towards the window and saw the palkis getting carried away with so many soldiers following behind on their horses ,the Shagun was carefully kept and I saw there was a beautiful murti of devi Maa Kalka placed there in the shagun , I joined my hands to take the blessings of maa kalka , after i came back towards my bed area , I asked my attendees to arrange warm water for my bath ,after getting the bath , I wore my maroon lehenga with diamond jewelery , neckset , anklets , bajubandh , nosering , Teeka . After getting ready , an attendee came and braided my hairs , the length of my hairs were going till my waist .

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time and went towards the Darbar to execute today's plan of visiting the houses of the kingdom

              Chacha sa's pov

I was waiting for Vandita to come so that we could visit the houses , as I was waiting for her , a sudden thought came to my mind and I got emotional , the time Vandita born , I felt as if she was my own daughter who took birth as a devi , we always wanted a daughter because since 20 years we were desperately waiting for a daughter to be born in our family , and when Vandita took birth after 20 years , she was so magnetic just like a goddess , we always referred her as devi Maa , whole kingdom celebrated her birth , she won everyone's heart just by smiling , she was glowing and smiling looking at me , my happy tears fell and when I took her in my arms , I knew that she's going to be the right choice for our kingdom , time passes by fast , she was so small yesterday and today she is going to get married .

My tears fell from my eyes that's when Vandita came and stood in front of me

I wiped my tears hurriedly but she saw and frowned

She asked

" chacha sa why are you crying, did something happen , are you alright ?"

She asked worriedly

I smiled and patted her head

" Nothing Vandita , it's just I was thinking that yesterday you were so small that I would run and you chase me through the halls and today it's the time you're going to get married, I always thought that if I would have a child it would be just like you , I always thought of you as my own daughter ,that's why I got a little emotional "

She teared up and hugged me , I smiled softly and patted her head

" now no more crying , it's going to be fine and I'm more than proud of you my child "

She nodded and wiped my tears and hers too

I patted her head and said

" let's go ,we're getting late for the visit "

She nodded and followed me

Meanwhile , In Rajgarh

             Radhika's pov

By the time we reached the kingdom of Rajgarh, the sun has already setted , we reached at the Main gate and was welcomed by the king , queen , and both the princes , I jumped off the palki and my mother gave me a side eye , I giggled

The queen welcomed us with the plate of Aarti , maa sa hugged the queen and greeted the king as well as the princes , I also greeted all of them , the princes touched the feet of maa sa and welcomed us .

            Abhimanyu's pov

As I greeted the mother in law of bhaisa , I saw another girl dressed in a shahi Joda  , maybe she was the younger sister of bhabhisa , My Eyes lit up seeing her and my heart started racing insanely , I looked at her and looked back at me and glared at me , oh , Attitude huh , Whatever , She was beautiful , No doubt but not my type , I rolled my eyes but kept my cool , a mischievous idea popped in my head , I

Smirked , then I smiled and greeted her too

She looked at me and greeted me too with that same expression on her face , why was she behaving so strange towards me

" Hume kya " I said in my mind

Bhaisa welcomed them in , everyone came inside the palace , Maa sa and pitaji bid their goodbyes to their in laws , only Bhaisa and me were the only one left with them , Bhaisa called and told the attendees to look after them for anything they needed , Queen Ambika left for her Chamber

" Abhimanyu , Meet her , The second daughter of king Suryapratap Singh , and the princess of Nirgarh - Princess Radhika Suryapratap Singh " Bhaisa introduced her to me , I smiled and she also smiled a little at me then again made a straight face , what is this with that girl , I jerked my thoughts off and an idea of starting a conversation with her popped in my head , I opened my mouth but she cut my words off ,  she ignored me and started talking to bhaisa

I said something to grab her attention

" Prateet hota hai aapko sirf apne Jijasa se hi baat krni hai "

( seems like you only want to talk to your jijasa )

She stared at me and smirked

" Baat krne ke liye aur koi hona bhi to chahiye "

( there should be someone else too , to have a conversation)

My mouth hanged listening to her , she was savage but even I knew how to handle these things , thinking that I smirked

" Dekhte hain , aap Kab tak humse baat nahi karti " ( let's see for how long you will not talk to me  ) I murmured to myself , I followed bhaisa while he was talking with her , after she left , bhaisa turned to me

" Abhimanyu , Princess Radhika is new here , and I hope you will not start your mischievous acts in front of her " He said seriously , I smirked lightly and nodded

" Bhaisa , aapne to dekha na wo kaise humse baat Kar rahi thi " ( you saw bhaisa , how she was talking to me ) I stated in my defense , he sighed

" It's Alright Abhimanyu , she is still quite Young , she'll understand once she will become mature " He said and I smiled

" Ji Bhaisa " I replied , I knew she was young but it doesn't give her the authority to show an unnecessary attitude when I was trying to being friendly with her , but I spare her for now , I took my leave and left for my chamber

              Ranvijay's pov

After the conversation , They went to their chambers to freshen up , after that , everyone went to the dining area to have dinner , we ate and then everyone went to sleep

Next morning , I woke and got ready , i wore brown kurta with its overcoat , i walked towards the Darbar for the marriage rituals , everyone gathered in the Darbar and I sat on one of the chairs , my mother in law smiled at me and tied the holy thread on my wrist , I touched her feet to take her blessings , I was happy , everyone was happy and hoped to see this happiness always .

She also started applying the haldi ubtan on my face just a little for the shagun that is going to applied on my skin and on Vandita's skin

After the ubtan ceremony , I was going back to my chamber when suddenly a thought came across my mind and my mind went blank , I hurriedly started going to my chamber that's when Abhimanyu noticed me and came after me , I shouldn't be crying because I was supposed to be strong but the overwhelming feeling didn't let me and my eyes welled up , dark red , tear drops wetting my cheeks , suddenly Abhimanyu caught my arm and came in front of me to face me . Just when he came in front of me ,he saw my face and he knew why I was feeling it .

He hugged me tightly , I hugged him back , I heard his broken voice when he said

" Bhaisa , please Be strong , not for anyone but atleast for this Kingdom and bhabhisa "

I closed my eyes and more tears fell , my grip tightened around him , and I said

" Abhimanyu , I couldn't control myself , I know she is not here anymore with us , but I miss her all the time , she was my Hearbeat Abhimanyu , how could I forget her , if she would've been here today , she would be so happy seeing me getting married "

Abhimanyu - I know bhaisa , even I miss her all the time but we need to be strong for this kingdom ,for our people , we can't let our weak side be shown to our enemies

He stated and I nodded

" you're right Abhimanyu , we can't let anybody see our weak side "

I said and wiped his tears . He smiled and wiped my tears too .

I said

" come let's meet Maa sa "

He nodded and followed me
